A High Tunnel, commonly called a “hoop house,” is an increasingly popular conservation practice for farmers, and is available with financial assistance through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).  With a high tunnel you can extend your growing season, improve soil quality and reduce energy use by providing consumers with a local source of fresh produce.

This workshop is free and open to anyone. Join us for this field day to learn about:

· The NRCS EQUIP Cost Share Program and how to apply

· Selecting and Building a High Tunnel

· Growing food and extending your season in a High Tunnel
