Transition to Organics Online Course

ISU is again offering the “Transitioning to Organic Agriculture” course
every Tuesday night (6 to 9 PM) starting January 10 to May 2, 2017 (flyer
attached). Course instructors include Kathleen Delate and Craig Chase,
along with organic producers and marketers. The course will be broadcast
through Adobe Connect™ from the Brenton Center on campus, so anyone may
take the course from their home computer (provided they have adequate
bandwidth).

The course is also offered on campus/on-line for 3 credits (undergraduate
or graduate) as AGRON 484/584, which may be of interest to Extension staff
and other ag. professionals looking for college credits. In the past, we
have had Extension staff taking it for either 3 credits or for a
certificate of completion.

We are asking a fee of $50 for the 16-week course, or $10/session to help
off-set technology costs.
